After helping my younger brother with some calculus homework last night (I love Skype!), Maggie and I had a little bedtime story courtesy of Barack Obama. LOVED his speech and commentary to students and teachers about being accountable to one another for our shared futures.
"This isn't just important for your own life and your own future. What you make of your education will decide nothing less than the future of this country. What you're learning in school today will determine whether we as a nation can meet our greatest challenges in the future."
Despite commentary to the contrary, after listening I feel no inner urges to become a communist or socialist nor do I feel he used my tax money to push his own agenda. Weird.

Ditto- the sad thing is that most of your peers in the US didn't take the time to listen to him speak.
